Product Characteristics and Precautions

Filly jewels are made of brass and stainless steel and each product is completely nickel-free.

Normal daily use and external agents such as air humidity, temperature, pollution levels, contact with cosmetics and skin perspiration can contribute to reducing the shine of silver surfaces and modifying the original appearance of the surface finishes towards darker and more opaque colours. The extent and speed of the phenomenon are not predictable because they depend on various factors. To keep it under control it is advisable to limit the contact of silver jewelery with detergents, creams, perfumes and with swimming pool water (chlorine) and thermal springs (sulphur) as much as possible; in general it is advisable to avoid direct contact with any substance containing alcohol.
Finally, a good habit for preserving jewels is to place them in individual, soft and clean bags, in dry places, away from heat sources and in general away from agents that could damage them.

Cleaning

In order to maintain the shine of the product, it is good practice to regularly wipe the surface with a soft cloth, paying attention however to the finish of the jewel and any stones.

In the case of particularly worn products, it is possible to use non-abrasive products specially designed and used in jewelery for cleaning.
